DJ Versatile, the Oshawa Champion was injured in an accident and was not able to make it to the Canadian Final. DJ Arsenal represented Oshawa in his place.
The winner of the 2008 DMC Canada Final DJ Shub will represent Canada at the 2008 DMC World Finals to be held in London, England on September 26 & 27. DJ Shub is also the winner of the 2008 DMC Battle for Canadian Supremacy he will also be representing Canada in the 2008 Battle for World Supremacy.
